Hints for the Freehand Clinic Manager Demonstration

Patient Data

To find a specific patient, select "Find an existing patient" and enter the first few characters of the name. For instance, enter "Bro" and select Geoff Brown from the list on the next screen.

You can now look at all the patient’s information and try out Freehand Clinic Manager’s features. You can add new patients, change patient details, record treatments and payments, print invoices and statements, record medical details and even change static information and print reports.

The Appointments Diary

In the date box at the top left of the screen, select 26th July 2000 and select "Day View", All sessions. To see details of an appointment, double-click it. To see details of the patient, select "Find patient". You can make new appointments, record treatments and change patient details as much as you like.

The Internet Diary

To look at the internet diary, exit from the demonstration and on the web site select "Freehand Clinic Manager Internet Appointments Diary". Choose a day and a therapist and select "Submit" to see what appointments are available.

Choose a time, type in your details and select "Submit" to reserve an appointment. Now start "Freehand Clinic Manager Diary" and select the day and practitioner you chose – you will see the appointment you made. Save the appointment and a confirmation email will be sent to the email address you entered.

In case of difficulty...

If ever the demonstration will not respond, exit from your browser, start it again, re-enter the Sensible People web site and restart the demonstration. If you continue to have trouble, call 0870 080 2346.

About the demonstration

The demonstration is designed to give you a flavour of Freehand Clinic Manager and does not show you all functions. You will note that the Statistics and Bank Reconciliation functions are not available and Patient Correspondence does not allow access to letters. You cannot access the referrals and miscellaneous libraries. If you want to learn about these, please call.

We will remove your personal User Id from the system after a while. If your Used Id is not recognised, please call 0870 080 2346 for a new personal User Name.

Changes you make to any of the demonstration information will not be permanent as we reload the demonstration files each night.
